Administrators admin 1,027 Posted February 13, 2020 Administrators Share Posted February 13, 2020 Linux Support This is the first checkra1n release which adds support for linux. More information on installing the Linux version can be found here. Known issues The exploit may not work as reliably on some devices, such as the Raspberry Pi Zero and Raspberry Pi 3. When trying to jailbreak multiple devices, only the first attempt will succeed. Workaround: relaunch checkra1n after every jailbreak attempt. webra1n Webra1n is an experimental web based UI for checkra1n, broadcasting ncurses - the terminal based ui - right to your browser and allowing headless devices (such as the Raspberry Pi) to present an interface over the network. We advise to use it locally or behind a password protected wifi network/proxy. Unsupported platforms This beta is only available for macOS and Linux. Work is ongoing to support Windows, which will be added in a later release. Package managers At the moment, checkra1n only supports installing Cydia. Support for other package managers is coming soon, and will not require a checkra1n update. On Debian-based distros (Ubuntu, Linux Mint, etc.) The recommended installation method on Debian based systems is our APT repo. This allows for easy updates and management of the checkra1n app. Using the repo Add our APT repo: echo "deb https://assets.checkra.in/debian /" | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list Add our public key: sudo apt-key adv --fetch-keys https://assets.checkra.in/debian/archive.key sudo apt update Install the checkra1n package

KingPoMas 0
Thank you Codepoet for this patch. I integrated the 64bit compatibility and the extern "C" linkage under linux in the svn trunk version. I will check the patches for the makefiles later.

KingPoMas 0
I can upload to Megaupload, but it does freeze my browser until it is done........... Rapidshare is the only one that works for well for me when uploading... Mediafire is also buggy and crappy on Linux. You think it might have to do with Firefox?
